I can’t believe we are almost SEVEN weeks into the school year. It appears everyone has settled in and is enjoying their new learning environment!
Just this week, all of our classes went on their first field trip. Mrs. McHugh took the 3’s classes to Fresh McKenzie Farm for a fun filled morning where they took a hayride, saw animals, played in the corn and much much more. Mrs. Elder took the 4’s classes to Jones Farm where they took a hayride, learned about crops, got to pick turnips, mustard greens, radishes and more from the crops! Fun was had by all. Now what kind of culinary delights can our 4’s parents create with their bounty? I’d love to see, please share on your classes Facebook pages!
BINGO IS SOLD OUT. Just in case you haven’t heard, although I am not sure how that is possible. Our Bingo sold out in THREE days. Can you believe it? I can, not to toot our own horn but our PHCC Bingo event is amazing and the community thinks so too! I can’t wait to have fun with you all on November 16th!
With that being said we are still in need of donations to make our Bingo the biggest and best it has ever been. PHCC Families- We are asking that you please donate Alcohol (any kind, unopened), Scratch Off Lottery Tickets or make a $25 Donation (we will do the shopping for you). You can make that in cash, check or Venmo. Please contact [email protected] if you want to Venmo us and we will be happy to pass along our Venmo information. We are also still accepting donations from area businesses. You can find our fundraising letter here. Remember all proceeds go back to our school and our wonderful kids!
Halloween Parties have been scheduled. Our 3’s classes will have their party on October 30th. Our 4’s classes on October 31st. Please see your respective Class Party Programmer form more information. I know we get excited buying treats for our little friends, but please keep in mind PHCC is a peanut free school.
I wish you all a safe, happy and healthy Halloween. Enjoy!
